New Jaguar Sportbrake Shines at Wimbledon! We’ve shared before about Andy Murray’s partnership with Jaguar, but now we are excited to share how Murray is teaming up with Jaguar to promote the all new Sportbrake.  We originally reported, “the wagon will share an aluminum architecture and Ingenium engine (both gasoline and diesel) with the XF sedan and the Sportbrake has been approved for “global markets” and shared the news about the partnership between Wimbledon and the Sportbrake.

Andy Murray, the two-time Wimbledon Champion and world number one, donated a replica men’s singles trophy for a special tour in the XF Sportbrake, with the trophy ending up at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Leading up to Wimbledon, the tour stopped by schools and tennis clubs while Jaguar filmed the whole experience. Marking Jaguar’s third year as the Official Car of the Championships, the Sportbrake was originally introduced by Andy Murray on a replica Wimbledon center court in London.

“Apparently I’m the first winner in the history of Wimbledon to give up their replica trophy like this. It was hard to part with it but it’s for a great cause and I know it’s in safe hands in the XF Sportbrake, especially with its special safety features and technology so I can keep track of it.” -Andy Murray

This comes with news that Jagaur has recruited fellow tennis player, Milos Raonic, as a global Jaguar ambassador. Learn more about it here. For more Wilde Jaguar news, Follow us on Twitter or Like us on Facebook.
